There is no question that the deep pastoral call to the peripheries and the appeal for spontaneous mercy was heard by our country and its leadership.
Hopefully, the experience will transcend the photo ops and selfies and allow the holy, charismatic and Christ-like message of the Pope to nurture and assist us in navigating our way through these challenging times.
