On March 26, Bishop Alberto Rojas celebrated the annual Chrism Mass and concelebrated with Bishop Emeritus Gerald Barnes and diocesan priests at Sacred Heart Church in Rancho Cucamonga. During the Mass, Bishop Rojas consecrated the sacred Chrism used to anoint the newly baptized and those to be confirmed during Easter Vigil. Bishop Rojas also blessed the Oil of Catechumens that catechumens are prepared and disposed for Baptism and blessed the Oil of the Sick. In his homily, Bishop Rojas expressed his gratitude for his brother priests’ continued service and the priests were also invited to renew their vocational vows.
