Monsignor Antonio Sudario, a retired diocesan extern priest from the Diocese of Iligan, Philippines, passed away on May 12 at the age of 81. Msgr. Sudario served as a Hospital Chaplain at St. Bernardine Medical Center, San Bernardino, before his retirement. His funeral Mass took place on June 28 at Christ the Redeemer Church in Grand Terrace.
As a Hospital Chaplin at St. Bernardine Medical Center, Msgr. Sudario’s mission was to compliment a patient’s physical care with spiritual care, assisting them in counsel and prayer. Msgr. Sudario not only celebrated Mass at the hospital chapel, but also provided patients and families with spiritual counsel, prayer, sacraments and spiritual resources.
