The spirituality of St. Teresa of Calcutta echoed in the minds of 20 parishioners from the Winchester parish that bears her name. Led by Father Tom Burdick, their pastor, they processed through no less than eight Holy Doors of Mercy at churches in and around Rome.
OLA hosts Walk for Life
SAN BERNARDINO—Our Lady of the Assumption Youth and Young Adult Ministry hosted a Walk for Life in San Bernardino on April 30. It began with a morning prayer service at the Pregnancy and Family Resource Center of San Bernardino, which had invited the OLA ministry to host the Walk.
Longtime rosary making group has international reach

RIVERSIDE—Thousands of rosaries made by a creative group of dedicated volunteers from several parishes in the Diocese have made their way to many people around the globe.
St. Jude’s Wire Benders, as they call themselves, gather in a little cottage in Riverside every Wednesday to carry out this ministry of faith and artistry.
