Deacon Victor Tiambeng

 He completed high school and in 1981 he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of St. Tomas in Manila. He married Maria Dolores (Dolly) Dizon on December 13, 1986 at the National Shrine of St. Michael and the Archangels, San Miguel, Manila. He worked on several engineering projects in the Philippines before immigrating to the United States in 1989. Because of his experience with information technology systems he was able to find work as a Systems Programmer for Sanwa Bank and Kaiser Permanente and later served as a systems consultant for Union Bank. 
 He was ordained by Cardinal Roger Mahony on June 13, 2009 and served St. Martha Catholic Community in Valinda before moving to Eastvale. He was granted faculties by Bishop Gerald Barnes on June 24, 2016 and was assigned to Saint Oscar Romero Church in Eastvale where he, Dolly and their children made their home.
 In March 2017 Deacon Tiambeng underwent a kidney transplant at UCLA Medical Center but continued to struggle with kidney disease before passing away from the disease. Because of his ongoing struggle with disease he had to guard against infections that might cause his body to reject the transplant, so his ministry was somewhat limited, and he was usually not able to come to Diocesan or Diaconate events and celebrations.
 The funeral Mass was held on April 24 at St Martha Catholic Church, La Puente, and internment was at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Rowland Heights.
