From Sept. 13- 19, Aquinas High School, San Bernardino, and Notre Dame High School, Riverside, added a new type of competition to their annual Holy War football game, one that reflects the Gospel call to feed the hungry. Aquinas and Notre Dame came together to donate 5,000 pounds of canned goods equaling 4,500 meals to the organization Feeding America. Urijah Raju, a Notre Dame freshman and founder of UR Wonderful, organized the food drive. This food drive was a great way to bring the two communities together for a meaningful cause. Both schools thank everyone who donated and made a difference! On Sept. 19, Aquinas defeated Notre Dame in the Holy War football game 48-0.
