SWINGING FOR STUDENTS The Office of Catholic Schools hosted the 20th Annual Bishop’s Golf Classic on Dec. 1 at PGA West, La Quinta. Since 2000, the Bishop’s Golf Classic has raised over $3 million to benefit individual schools, the Catholic Schools Endowment and emergency funds supporting our elementary and high school students. The event is both a joyful, fun time for participants and an important way to support local Catholic education. Special guests this year included Bishop Rojas and former Dodgers baseball player Steve Garvey.
