The work included a new play structure, new fencing, landscaping, irrigation, and a new beautiful field was planted with heavy-duty sod. Principal Peter Horton led the five-year fundraising effort, with the help of a small grant, special fund-raisers hosted by the School Board, and the help of some generous private donors. Their goal was to create modern and updated places for their students to play, exercise and have fun during recesses, lunches and P.E. classes.
