On Sept. 12, the Knights of Columbus Council 12938 at San Secondo d’Asti Church in Guasti installed a new Memorial for the Unborn.

The memorial is located along the wall between the restrooms and the parish hall. Parishioners and visitors are encouraged to take some time to visit and offer a prayer for all unborn babies. The memorial includes a concrete kneeling angel, a concrete bench to sit and under a small white arched gazebo is a plaque that reads, “BABY UNBORN. In Memory of all innocent victims of abortion. Our Lady of Life pray for us. Donated by Knights of Columbus Council 12938.”

The parish thanked the Knights of Columbus for donating and installing the memorial. In addition to this memorial honoring the unborn, the parish joined the Upland 40 Days of Life Fall Campaign, an internationally coordinated 40-day campaign that aims to end abortion locally through prayer and fasting, community outreach, and a peaceful all-day vigil in front of abortion businesses.
