In his remarks to those gathered he gave thanks to his supporters and shared that throughout his life he has felt the call to find beauty and to express it through words, images and colors. He revealed himself to be a person that is attentive to his surroundings, to the beauty of the landscape, to the details of nature, to the faces of the people he encounters and especially to their stories. Fr. Guido believes that this process brings wisdom.
The parish’s social hall exhibited some of Father Guido’s paintings and he held a book signing during the reception.
Pastoral Coordinator Laura Lopez thanked God for Fr. Guido’s ministry, for his support to the parish and shared that all proceeds from the book will go to the parish. Books are available for purchase at Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
