Ministry to Families of Gay and Lesbian Catholics to host Advent gathering

 In the spirit of our Holy Father’s recent reminder that the Church is called to accompany homosexual Catholics, the MFGLC will be hosting an Advent Mass & Potluck Gathering at the Diocesan Pastoral Center, 1201 East Highland Avenue in San Bernardino, on Saturday, December 10. The evening will begin with a Vigil Mass for the Third Sunday of Advent at 5 p.m. in the Chapel, followed by a potluck meal and talk in the Kateri Room. The presider and speaker will be Father David Andel, JCL, who will be speaking on the Guadate Sunday theme of spiritual “waiting.” Several of the MFGLC ministry members are themselves parents of gay or lesbian children and they will be available to provide a warm welcome and to answer your questions.
