Hello, I’m Avery McGraw and I attend sixth grade at Our Lady of the Assumption School in San Bernardino. 

 Each class at our school has a special patron saint. Our sixth grade saint is St. Francis of Assisi.

SAN BERNARDINO—Aquinas High School Senior football player Branden Rankins continues to play well on the field and succeed in the classroom. 

GRAND TERRACE—The young people of the Diocese will have their own celebration with Bishop Gerald Barnes to mark the 25th Anniversary of his Episcopal Ordination.

 With a resounding 43-15 victory in the Holy War football game on October 6, Aquinas High School reclaimed the Holy Shield that goes to the winner of the rivalry game each year.

In collaboration with the Diocesan Office of Restorative Justice, Notre Dame High School in Riverside held a prayer service Oct. 4 for those killed in the mass shooting in Las Vegas on Oct. 1. In honor of the victims, the students lit 58 candles.

SAN BERNARDINO—If all goes well, Catholic students at California State University, San Bernardino will have their own gathering place just off campus in less than a year.
