In honor of Saint Patrick’s Day, March 17, Catholic schools in the diocese participated in fun activities, while (of course) wearing green! St. Thomas the Apostle School in Riverside (LEFT) celebrated with its transitional kindergarten and kindergarten students by going on a leprechaun hunt, where they walked through campus following clues, made leprechaun traps and discovered a pot of gold. St. Adelaide Academy in Highland (BOTTOM RIGHT), in addition to wearing green clothing and accessories, created a crafts project called “My Treasures,” where students wrote their names on a pot and their treasures on gold coins that they glued into the pot. Our Lady of Perpetual Help School in Riverside (TOP LEFT) also prepared crafts, personalizing their own leprechaun drawings and making “Froot Loops” cereal rainbows.
