More than 100 people gathered at St. Andrew’s Newman Center in Riverside on Oct. 12 for the Diocesan Blue Mass, a liturgy of gratitude and support for those who work in public safety. At the Blue Mass, Assistant Chief John Freese of the UC Riverside Police Department was given the Chief Patrick Crowe Award for sharing his gifts and knowledge in the area of public safety with his community of faith through training and leadership.

Nearly 100 people gathered at St. Joseph Parish in Big Bear on Oct. 6 for the inaugural Diocesan Care for Creation Day.
