In honor of Catholic Schools Week, the Diocesan Office of Catholic Schools honored its distinguished volunteers, alumni, staff, and teachers at the 2025 Catholic Schools Awards Mass. This year, the Mass was celebrated on Feb. 1 at Sacred Heart Church in Rancho Cucamonga. The chief celebrant was Father Rafael Partida, E.V., with parish pastor, Father Cristobal Subosa, concelebrating and Deacon NelsonGlass also at the altar. Sister Cecilia Duran, O.D.N., Director of Catholic Schools, gave the welcoming remarks to begin the evening. Over 40 individuals were awarded as distinguished volunteers, six individuals were awarded as distinguished alumni, 18 individuals were awarded as distinguished staff, and 23 individuals were awarded as distinguished teachers. Edgardo Juarez, Associate Director of Mission and Catholic Identity in the Office of Catholic Schools, gave the closing remarks and thanked everyone present for their continued support of the Catholic Schools Ministry.
