Resurrection Academy, Fontana has a new leader in Angelica Regalado, named principal of the preschool through eighth grade campus at the beginning of the academic year.
“This opportunity means the world to me, and I am eager to embark on this journey with my school community as we work together to elevate Resurrection Academy to become the school of choice for our community,” she said.
Having attended Catholic schools from elementary through high school, Regalado understands the significant role Catholic education plays in the lives of children. After earning her Bachelor of Arts degree and teaching credential from the University of Redlands, she embarked on her career in education at Resurrection Academy. Now she returns to the school where she was first entrusted to teach.
Regalado’s connection to Resurrection Academy goes beyond her professional life; it is deeply personal, she says. Her son is a graduate of Resurrection Academy and was honored to be the valedictorian of his middle school class.
“This school holds a special place in my heart, and I am committed to upholding its traditions while driving innovation and growth,” she said.
She earned a Master of Arts degree in School Administration from Loyola Marymount University and is currently pursuing a certificate in Catholic School Administration there. Her leadership experience, including her role as Teacher and Vice Principal at St. Catherine of Siena School in Rialto for eight years, has equipped her with invaluable skills and perspectives, which she says will allow her to make a positive and enduring impact on the Resurrection Academy community.
