The group of 40 students ages 5-13 participate in an after school music performance program at St. Francis de Sales. Michael Salinas, a third grade performer from St. Francis de Sales School says, “I love performing for the community. It makes everyone happy and ready to celebrate Christmas.”

The students showcased traditional holiday songs in a 30-minute performance to capture the spirit of the season. This music program is managed and directed by Tracy Simeon, who has an extensive background in musical performance, dance, and theater.

Founded in 2014, the after school music performance program provides St. Francis de Sales students the opportunity to study music theory, movement, stage production/equipment, and performance technique. The students are eager to begin rehearsals for the “The Big Show,” a Broadway Review scheduled for May 13, 2017 at University Theatre on the campus of the University of California, Riverside.
