On March 22, two Sisters of the Society Devoted to the Sacred Heart (SDSH) professed their vows at Sacred Heart Church in Rancho Cucamonga, surrounded by their family and friends. Sister Vivian Sun (pictured center right) performed her Perpetual Profession, a public profession of vows to live chastity, poverty, and obedience forever in the SDSH and life-long commitment to make known the personal love of God through a broad scope of apostolic works. Sister Claire Gietzen (pictured left) performed her Renewal of Temporary Profession, a Profession of Evangelical Counsels, vows of Chastity, Poverty, and Obedience. She will continue to receive formation, being assigned to live in a local community to participate in the apostolate. Father Rafael Partida, Episcopal Vicar of the Riverside Pastoral Region of the diocese, was the chief celebrant of the Mass and he was joined by several other concelebrating priests.
