The Diocesan Office of Community Services and Outreach, led by Director Teresa Rocha, invites the faithful to watch the new movie, “No Address,” which highlights the issue of homelessness. The movie was released in local theaters on Feb. 28. Inspired by true events, “No Address” follows the harrowing journey of a young woman pushed onto the streets and forced to survive against all odds. Alongside a makeshift family of outcasts, each with their own haunting story of struggle and loss, the young woman discovers that home is not just a place, but the people who refuse to let you fall. Rocha also encourages the faithful to watch “Americans With No Address,” an accompanying documentary that unravels the truth of the homelessness crisis in America. The producers of “No Address,” toured America to learn more about the epidemic before filming, visiting 20 major cities across 18 states to create the documentary. There is an opportunity to coordinate a group viewing, with 25 people or more, of the movie at local movie theaters. Please visit the movie’s website to learn more: noaddressmovie.com
