On Oct. 1, Father Joseph Pilotin, MS, (LEFT) former pastor of St. Paul the Apostle, Chino Hills, departed the diocese to begin his work as the Vicar Provincial for his religious order, the Missionaries of Our Lady of La Salette (MS), Mother of Hope Province. Fr. Pilotin’s role is to animate the whole province and to oversee the proper living of religious consecration as well as make the final approval for applications to the profession of vows and ordinations. Father Elmer M. Galiza, MS, from the Philippines, was named the parish’s new Administrator. This is Fr. Galiza’s first assignment outside his home country, where he served as the Director of a College Seminary.
