The Indonesian Catholic Council of the Diocese of San Bernardino celebrated the installation of its new leaders with a Mass at St. Joseph the Worker Church in Loma Linda on Aug. 20. The council, led by Chair Anne Cipta and Vice Chair Robert Kho, is comprised of 25 members that address areas such as spirituality, recreation, music, fundraising, hospitality and liturgy. In addition, Father Angelo Battista, MSC, was installed as the new Chaplain to the Council at the Mass. Also joining in the celebration were previous Chaplain, Father Adrianus Budhi, MSC, Father Noel Cruz, MS, Pastor of St. Joseph the Worker, Monsignor Gerard Lopez, Vicar General of the Diocese, and Deacon Johanness Lauran. The term for each member of the Indonesian Catholic Council is two years.
