DEDICATED SERVICE Three organizations were given the Amar Es Entregarse Award at the annual Bishop’s Dinner, held May 27 at the J.W. Marriott Desert Springs Resort and Spa in Palm Desert. Marc Cobb (far left), President of the Knights of Columbus Arrowhead Desert Valley Chapter, accepted the award from Bishop Rojas on behalf of the Knights of Columbus; Lorene Sponslor (second from left), District Governor for Serra International San Bernardino, accepted the award from Bishop Rojas on behalf of Serra International; and Father Jerry Ochetti (right), District and Diocesan Chaplain for the Italian Catholic Federation, accepted the award from Bishop Rojas on behalf of the Italian Catholic Federation. We congratulate the honorees and thank everyone who attended the Bishop’s Dinner, which raises funds for seminarian education.
