Since its inception in February of 2010, iGod Today has reached an online international audience from Alaska to Zimbabwe totaling over three quarter of a million hits. Presently there are 15 English speaking contributors to these presentations, the majority of whom are members of the laity.

The app works as follows: each presenter prepares his or her own script which is uploaded to a teleprompter for taping in front of a “green screen.” The editor then places the speaker in front of a stained glass window or one of several church backdrops on file. Each session on a topic taken from the liturgical readings of the day lasts three to five minutes. Subscribers benefit from this brief spiritual reflection on the day’s readings.
