The 30 under 30 list was released in five different posts on the organization’s website, featuring a different category of honorees. The categories included artists and athletes; activists; apostolates; new media and intellectuals.
Rogers was included in the “new media” category for his work with the Imagine Sisters Movement. Rogers co-founded the Imagine Sisters Movement “to encourage and inspire a culture of vocations to women’s religious life by fostering a deep desire for holiness through the witness of religious sisters.”
He directed a documentary, “Light of Love,” which presents a realistic and moving portrayal of five religious sisters from five orders about their call and their work. The documentary is complimented by a website and social media accounts.
Rogers is currently studying theology at St. John’s Seminary in Camarillo, Calif. and hopes to be ordained a priest in 2018.
