Father Francis Frankovich, CC, who ministered for several years in the Diocese, was called home to God on Feb. 13. Fr. Frankovich served in a variety of parishes including Our Lady of Soledad, Coachella and as Vice Rector of Saint Junipero Serra House of Formation when it was located in Riverside. Fr. Frankovich was born August 13, 1942. He was ordained to the priesthood on May 31, 1968, and celebrated being a priest for more than 55 years. In 1989 Fr. Frankovich entered the Companions of the Cross religious community where he served for several years. May Our Lord grant Fr. Frankovich eternal life and peace as he concludes his earthly journey.
