RIVERSIDE—When students at Notre Dame High School return next year, they will be welcomed by a familiar face behind the principal’s desk. Following the recommendations of the search committee, Bishop Gerald Barnes has appointed Matthew Luttringer principal of Notre Dame High School in Riverside.

“Matt Lutringer will be a strong leader in moving Notre Dame forward with a new vision for the high school students of Riverside,” Patricia Vessley, Superintendent of Catholic Schools said. “We are very happy to have him as principal.”

Luttringer has been serving as interim principal at Notre Dame since the departure of Dr. Jo Dean Salley in November.
