The 10,000 square foot building includes two new classrooms, a kitchen facility, gathering space, restrooms and a storage area. Prior to this expansion, math and science teachers at the sixth, seventh and eighth grade level had to share classroom space and move from room to room.   The extended school care program, before and after school, is also utilizing the new building.  In addition, that same space also provides much needed space for small group work.

The school’s Development Committee, made up of parents, parishioners, alumni, administration and friends of St. Joseph School, spent up to ten years raising the funds necessary to build the new building.
