The workshop is slated to offer a glimpse into what religious life is like for brothers, sisters, monks, nuns and priests.  Catechists, Catholic school teachers, youth ministers and seekers are encouraged to attend.

“This is very good for parents so they know how to talk to their children,” said Sister Sarah Shrewsbury, vocations director for the Diocese of San Bernardino. “All kinds of people who haven’t been able to talk about religious life because they don’t know enough about religious life, now is your time to learn.”

Each year the different vocations offices in the dioceses and archdiocese collaborate to offer a workshop for those promoting vocations or for those who are interested learning more about vocations. This year the workshop will be held within the boundaries of the Diocese of San Bernardino and will offer sessions in English and in Spanish.

This workshop is approved for catechetical recertification for those in the Ministry Formation Institute. Participants are asked to RSVP by April 12. Admission is a $10 donation with lunch included.
